Globally-Distributed Edge Delivery - ROO leverages the Akamai EdgeSuite solution for both streaming media and web objects, delivering 99% of all ROO content from the edge of the Internet.  By leveraging Akamai's 13.500 servers on 1,000 networks in 66 countries, ROO is able to deliver a high quality user experience to viewers wherever theyh are located around the globe.  Global edge distribution also allows ROO to scale its capacity to accommodate both long- and short-term increases in the demand for our high interest video content.
